Lachlan Valley Railway

Not to be confused with the former Lachlan Valley Rail Freight

The Lachlan Valley Railway Society Cooperative Limited is a non-profit rail preservation society based in the NSW Central Western town of Cowra, New South Wales, Australia.[1] The museum's ex-NSWGR fleet ranges from their operational steam and diesel locomotives, to the fleet of heritage passenger railway carriages and the "Tin Hare" CPH railmotors in its collection. The society is based in the former NSWGR locomotive depot in Cowra, and operates both short and long distance trips from this depot to destinations within NSW.
